I arrived at Mother's Kitchen (atop
Palomar Mtn) around mid-morning. Not much of a crowd yet, but the
regulars' conversation led me to believe it was still early.
The bikes ranged from serious sport bikes, through dual-sports, up to my ST on the touring end of the scale. These photos were taken after several bikes had departed for the South Grade Road. They returned a short time later, reporting a rider had wedged his bike under a guard rail.
Note: Rusty riders on loaded sport-TOURING bikes might want to rethink riding down the South Grade Road...it was puckering experience! |
